What this API does

Search Hunter's company index with a plain-language company profile or an exact list of domains. The current Scrollport contract uses Hunter's default first page, returns up to 100 candidate companies per call and does not expose a result-count input. Treat the response as a candidate set to shortlist and verify, not as a verified or decision-ready company list. The upstream call is free; Scrollport charges a flat $0.0050 successful-call service fee.

Agents select this operation with tool ID hunter.discover, then inspect its current executable contract before a run.
