How are connected-app tools different from provider-included tools?

Provider-included tools are ready to run through Scrollport without a separate provider account. Connected-app tools act inside an app account you already own and authorise, such as Notion, HubSpot or Linear.

Choose the smallest operation

Specify the app, account, object and one read, search, create or update outcome. Ask the agent to retrieve current state and resolve stable record identities before any write.

Preview changes inside your account

Require a before-and-after preview for edits, check duplicates before creates and start with one representative record. The connection protects credentials, but the requested action still needs clear human authority.
