What this API does

Read domain-level backlink authority and global rank for a report date. Subdomain inputs can reflect the parent domain; this does not establish that a hostname exists. Every completed request, including an empty result, costs its quote. Failed requests are uncharged. The worked example shows selected recorded fields and at most one item per list; counts retain their recorded values.
