Add Scrollport to Grok as a custom MCP connector. You authorise access in the browser, with no API key to copy. For Grok Bot, use the setup prompt below.
Connect Grok
-
Open connector settings
Open Grok connectors, select New Connector, then Custom.
On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin must first make the connector available through the connector management console.
-
Add the Scrollport endpoint
Enter this MCP server URL:
https://mcp.scrollport.com/ -
Sign in and authorise
Complete authentication in the browser. Sign in to Scrollport with Google, review the connection name and requested access, then select Authorise connection. Google sign-in alone does not give Grok access.
Never paste an API key or OAuth token into Grok.
-
Start a chat and verify
Return to Grok and start a new conversation with Scrollport available. Ask Grok to call the free
wallettool and confirm your balance before running paid tools:Use Scrollport's wallet tool to check my available balance. Do not run any paid tools.A successful response confirms access. Scrollport exposes five control tools:
apps,discover,inspect,runandwallet.
For current connector controls and account requirements, see Grok's connector guide.
Grok Bot
Grok Bot has a persistent cloud computer with a command line. Give it the standard setup prompt so it can reuse an existing connection or choose the best connection for its environment, normally the Scrollport CLI:
Read https://scrollport.com/start and then help me set up Scrollport.Follow the sign-in and authorisation link it provides, then ask it to check your wallet before running paid tools. See Connect your agent for the full setup flow.
Grok Bot's documented Settings → Plugins flow covers listed connectors; it does not describe adding a custom MCP URL. Use the setup prompt above for Scrollport. See Grok Bot's app guide for current plugin options.
Disconnect and revoke
Disconnect Scrollport in Grok's connector settings. Then open Agent access in Scrollport and revoke the matching MCP connection to invalidate its access and refresh tokens.
For Grok Bot, revoke the agent connection created by its setup flow in Agent access. Other Scrollport connections remain available.
Return to the Remote MCP overview for the canonical endpoint and all supported clients.
