What this API does

Normalize up to eight common US-GAAP metrics for one exact CIK: revenue, net income, assets, liabilities, stockholders' equity, cash and equivalents, operating cash flow and diluted EPS. Callers may select metrics, base forms and one to eight periods. Priority-ordered concept aliases handle common filer variation; the latest-filed context wins for each fiscal period, values remain decimal strings, units and accession provenance remain explicit, and missing metrics are reported rather than invented.
