Search pages and data sources inside a Notion workspace that the user has authorised.
Connect your app account to let your agent use its tools. Your credentials stay private, and you pay only for successful runs.
Connect your first agent to receive $1 trial credit.
Authorise your Notion workspace once, then describe what you remember about the page or data source. Your agent can search the titles available to that connection without receiving your Notion API key.
Notion search finds pages and data sources whose titles include the search phrase and that have been shared with the authorised connection. It is intended for finding content by name, not for searching the text inside every page or filtering rows inside a particular data source.
Give your agent the most distinctive words from the title and say whether you expect a page or a data source. Add context that will help it judge close matches rather than relying on one exact phrase.
Confirm that the page or data source has been shared with the authorised Notion connection. Search indexing is not immediate, so a newly shared item may need a short wait and another search. Trying a shorter or alternative title phrase can also reveal the right result.
Ask your agent to return the closest matches and explain which one it thinks is correct. Confirm the page or data source before asking the agent to query it, create content or make any other follow-on change.
This example is designed for a read-only search when you remember the subject but not the exact title.
Example prompt to give your agent
Use Scrollport to search my connected Notion workspace for a [PAGE OR DATA SOURCE] about [TOPIC]. I think the title includes [WORDS YOU REMEMBER], and it probably belongs to [TEAM, CLIENT OR PROJECT]. Try sensible alternative title phrases if the first search is inconclusive. Return the closest matches with their titles and links, explain which result you think is correct, and do not change anything. Show me the Scrollport price before the paid run.
